85 Universities Participate in A Workshop on Academic Mobility Program for Students Conducted by UAD
To expand international cooperation of Indonesian universities, Indonesian government through State Ministry of Research and Technology (KEMENRISTEK DIKTI) gives government donation namely HIBAH PKKUI. There are several activities should be fulfilled to complete this program, one of them is WORKSHOP.
UAD has accepted HIBAH PKKUI for third times and this year UAD becomes one of 80 universities in Indonesia which receive HIBAH PKKUI. In this occasion, UAD held workshop on “Academic Mobility Program for Students”. Three keynote speakers were invited, they are Purwanto Subroto, Ph.D (Chief of Subdirectory of Inter-Institution Cooperation of DIKTI) discussed “The Internationalization of Indonesian Higher Education Institutions through Academic Mobility Programs for Students”. Dr.Ir. Edwan Kardena, (Director of International Office ITB) discussed “Academic Mobility Programs for Students”. Moreover, Elena Williams (Resident Director of ACICIS) talked about “Students Mobility Programs Through ACICIS”.
Additionally, in sharing session Rai Rake Setiawan, S.E.,G.D.Bus.,M.S.A. (Head of International Program of Faculty of Economy of UAD) Ulaya Ahdiani, M.Hum (Vice Dean of faculty of Communication and Letters of UAD) , and Dian Artha Kusumaningtyas, M.Pd (Head of Physics Education Study Program of UAD) shared International activity programs such as joint degree, credit semester, and Community Service Program (KKN)
Locating at Griya Kresna of Hotel Santika, this event was joined by 85 universities from almost all of part of Indonesia. The event was officially opened by Dr. H. Kasiyarno, M.Hum (Rector of UAD). Besides, this event also attended by Prof. Dr. Sarbiran (Vice Rector VI of UAD) and Ida Puspita, M.A.Res. (Director of Office of International Affairs (OIA) UAD).
Ida Puspita, M.A.Res hopes that this event initiates sharing best practice on International Students Mobility Programs in UAD and lead to new cooperations in managing foreign student’s mobility activity with higher education nationally and internationally. In addition, UAD as one of qualified universities is expected to be able to compete with other universities internationally.
