5 Students of Monash University, Australia, Visit UAD and Learn Saman Dance
Monash University Students with the Dance Lecturer
Thursday, January 16, 2014, UAD welcomed 5 students of Monash University, Australia. The 5 students visit Yogyakarta for two weeks and have activities with UAD for three days. Vice Rector IV UAD, Prof. Dr. Sarbiran, welcomed them and open chance for other Monash University students to visit UAD. He also hoped that next time, there would be UAD students visit Monash University.
At the welcoming ceremony, Darmasiswa students of UAD, performed Saman dance. After the ceremony, Monash students also had chance to learn dance coming from Aceh. On the next day, they will have school visit and cultural visit. Hope you enjoy, guys!
