An International Student of UAD Got Silver Medal in Tapak Suci National Competition

10th-20th October 2015, located at Airlangga University, Surabaya. Tapak Suci Team of UAD participated in Tapak Suci National Competition. One of 21 team members is a foreign student who study under Darmasiswa Program, her name is Liana Snitzar. She comes from Ukraine and is able to speak Indonesian fluently.

In this chance, UAD got one gold medal, four silver medals and one bronze medal. Liana got one of those silver medals.

“Before participating in this competition, Liana has done her best. She exercised hard everyday in two weeks” Said Gatot Sugiharto, S.H., M.Hum. as the coach of Tapak Suci in UAD.

He also added that, the more they practice the more they have chances to be a winner.

“I am very happy having chance to participate in this event. For the first time, I did not want to participate. I could not imagine, how it might be going on with me who have just joined only for two weeks. With full support from the couch and all team members, I can loudly say yes I did! Thank you very much” said Liana.

“Itu benar-benar keren (It is very cool) , when I worked really hard on this competition without a target  but at last I won” She added in fluent Indonesian language.
