BIMAWA in Collaboration With Office of International Affairs (OIA) UAD Held International Event
Bureau of Student Affairs and Alumni (BIMAWA) of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) in collaboration with Office of International Affairs (KUI) UAD held international event titled Ahmad Dahlan International Event, Wednesday to Saturday (27-30 / 11/2019). UAD International Event was opened by Dr. Abdul Fadil as vice-rector student affairs.
Danang Sukantar (Head of Student Development Division of BIMAWA UAD) and Galuh Febri Putra (KUI-UAD) said that the event was attended by 30 foreign students, from 10 countries, and 3 continents. Galuh explained the 10 countries are Bangladesh, Belgium, China, Hungary, Laos, Madagascar, Malaysia, Palestine, Vietnam, and Thailand. “The ten countries include 3 continents of Asia, Europe, and Africa, there are 199 foreign students actively studying at UAD”.
Danang Sukantar said that UAD International Event was also attended by 15 Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah universities (PTMA). PTMA sent selected students to this program. The PTMA, Stikes Aisyiyah Surakarta, Stikes Muhammadiyah Gombong, UAD, Universitas Muhammadiyah Buton, UM Kudus, UM Malang, UM Magelang, UM Maluku Utara, UM Semarang, UM Sukabumi, UM Sumatera Barat, UM Surabaya, UM Tasik, UM Prof Hamka, UM Sidoarjo. According to Danang Sukantar, there were many competitions and seminar in the event such as singing competition, photography competition, painting competition, international art exhibition, international seminal, presenting Ida Puspita MA. Res. As keynote speaker (Head of KUI), Ahmed AO Shbair (Palestine) Dori Kriss (Hungary) Chen Yan (China) Ahmad Naquib Quiet bin Salim (Malaysia). The seminar chose the theme of the International Seminar on Cross-Cultural Understanding: Developing Human Resources to face the Industrial Revolution 4.0
