Twenty three foreign students were social fieldwork activities in May 201,the activities organized by Office International Affairs from Ahmad Dahlan University.
This activity is the first activity undertaken in scholarship. Social fieldwork activity aims to introduce Indonesian culture and social interaction of foreign students directly in the field.
These activities are divided into two types of practical or teaching practice(special for senior high school and junior high school), or teaching activities at the school in the morning (elementary and kindergarten) and in the afternoon until the evening activities take place in the community.
Ahmad Dahlan of University was selected locations in the area, for example around in the temple of Prambanan, Klaten

“I am very pleased to participate in social fieldwork. When the morning I’m teach, after that I’m cooking food China with the mother’s village in the afternoon and in the night I was invited to sing Campur Sari by Mr. Surono, they are very nice people”, said Ruth one of foreign student from china.

Although, this activity lasted only 1 week, but the impression given is very good and even locals who want to be held back much of this activity next year.

Foreign students are required to be active in these activities, even if some of them several times requested to dance performances (they’ve learned in dance class before).
