Erasmus + EU representatives conducted monitoring and evaluation to KUBI UAD
Erasmus +, represented by Neil Towers and Nadine Sulkowski from Gloucestershire University, UK conducted monitoring and evaluating to Office of Business and Innovation (KUBI), UAD (24/06/2019). The M & E is part of the Erasmus + (Growing Indonesia A Triangular Approach) grant. This project involved 11 universities from various countries such as Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, Universitas Islam Indonesia, Universitas Brawijaya, STIE Malangkucecwara, President University, Universitas Negeri Semarang, Universitas Padjadjaran from Indonesia, University of Gloucestershire from England, Innsbruck University from Austria, Dublin Institute of Technology from Ireland and the Fachhochschule des Mittelstands from Germany. The Erasmus + consortium project led by Gloucestershire University plans to create seven Growth Hubs throughout Indonesia and UAD is the first university in Indonesia to formalize the Growth Hub integrated with KUBI.
Office of Business and Innovation aims to integrate start-up business in UAD and Growth Hub is the center of entrepreneurial activities in UAD for students, alumni, UAD stakeholders, lecturers, employees, etc. . Growth Hub also has incubation facility to develop innovation and explore new ideas for the local and regional economy. This M & E was also the event for business incubation under UAD to showcase their featured products. There were 15 UAD business incubation products produced by students and local business exhibited at the M & E. These products vary from culinary to herbal medicines developed by UAD students and local business under UAD.
According to the Head of UAD KUI and Erasmus + coordinator, Ida Puspita, “Since the beginning UAD has committed to this project, UAD established KUBI integrated with Growth Hub, this is the effort to develop entrepreneurship in UAD and partners “. In addition to visiting UAD, Erasmus + representatives also visited UII, which is also the member of the 11 university consortium.
