FKIP UAD Sent Off 23 Students for SEA Teacher Batch 10 to the Philippines
Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) at Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) officially sent off 23 outbound students participating in the SEA Teacher Batch 10 program to the Philippines. The send-off ceremony was held on Monday (20/1) at the Educators Hall, FKIP Main Campus, UAD.
Dr. Ani Susanti, M.Pd.BI., Vice Dean of FKIP UAD, delivered an important message to the outbound students in her speech. “Use this opportunity to develop yourselves and uphold the good name of the university. Take care of yourselves while you’re there,” Ani advised.
The SEA Teacher program provides an invaluable opportunity for students to gain international experience, especially in the field of education. Participants will practice their teaching skills at various partner schools in the Philippines while also learning about the country’s education system and culture.
Syafiyah Qothrunada, one of the outbound student representatives, expressed her enthusiasm for the program. For her, SEA Teacher is not just a platform to enhance knowledge of teaching methods but also a way to broaden horizons on global education and culture.
“Our hope is that through this experience, we can become more competent educators with a broader perspective, and this experience will make us more competent and globally-minded educators. We hope this program will continue and have a positive impact on the world of education,” said Syafiyah with hope.
With the spirit of globalization and collaboration, this program is expected to positively impact not only the students but also the broader educational landscape.
