Exploring Two Islands of Indonesia in Two Weeks

The two-week program in two different islands of Indonesia is held by Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) Yogyakarta and Universitas Muhammadiyah Buton (UMB) Sulawesi Tenggara. The first week is conducted in Yogyakarta hosted by UAD and the final week is in Buton hosted by UMB.

UAD Yogyakarta

Time                : 28^th January – 3^rd February 2017

Location          : Prambanan, Yogyakarta

Activities

• Teaching at SD Muhammadiyah Prambanan and TK ABA Prambanan
• Engaging in Local Community Activities
• Learning Local Village Administration
• Learning Indonesian Language and Culture
• Making Local Traditional Handicraft
• Cooking Traditional food
• Visiting Prambanan Temple

UMB Sulawesi Tenggara

Time                : 4th – 11th February 2017

Location          : Baubau, Sulawesi Tenggara

Activities

• Visiting Wolio Museum
• Cooking Local Cuisine
• Sitting in Buton Woven Class
• Visiting Local Culture and Heritage Site
• Teaching at UMB
• Engaging in Local Community Activities
• Learning Indonesian Language and Culture
• Visiting Traditional Market
• Performing Art and Culture
