Ministry of Law Regional Office of Yogyakarta promotes the importance of document legalization service at UAD through Apostille
Yogyakarta – The Ministry of Law Regional Office of Yogyakarta conducted a courtesy visit to Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) on Wednesday (26/2). The visit aimed to enhance awareness regarding the significance of Apostille documents for UAD lecturers, graduates, and international students intending to pursue further studies or professional careers abroad.
The delegation from the Regional Office was led by Eem Nurmanah, M.Si., Head of the Legal Services Division, accompanied by Retno Dewi Banowati, M.H., Head of the General Law Administration Division, and two analysts. They were welcomed by Ulaya Ahdiani, S.S., M.Hum., Head of the Office of Partnership and International Affairs at UAD and Afit Istiandaru, S.Pd., M.Pd., Head of International Partnership Division.
During the meeting, the Regional Office delegations underscored the critical role of Apostille documents in verifying the authenticity of any documents issued in Indonesia, such as graduation certificates, academic transcripts, passports, and other academic credentials for UAD graduates seeking international opportunities. The Apostille process is also essential for international students studying at UAD, ensuring their documents are legally recognized in other countries.
Beyond Apostille-related matters, the delegation introduced a range of additional legal services, including intellectual property management support. Furthermore, the UAD academic community was informed about the various online legal services accessible through the general law administration website (https://ahu.go.id/). These services facilitate legal administrative processes such as legal entity registration, immigration procedures, and intellectual property rights registration.
This initiative is expected to enhance the awareness and understanding of UAD lecturers, students, and graduates regarding available legal services, ultimately supporting their academic and professional mobility on a global scale.
