Three Lecturers of Pharmacy Faculty UAD Present on the International Symposium on Progress in Pharmacology and Annual Seminar of Guangxi Pharmacological Society 2013 in China
Friday to Tuesday, December 20-24, 2013, three lecturers of Pharmacy Faculty presented on International Symposium on Progress in Pharmacology and Annual Seminar of Guangxi Pharmacological Society 2013 at Guangxi Medical University (GXMU), Nanning, Guangxi, China. Dr. Dyah Perwitasari, Ph.D., M.Si., Apt., the Dean of Pharmacy Faculty UAD, presented “Individualization Therapy for Chemotherapy-Induced Nausea Vomiting in Indonesian Cancer Patients“. Dr. rer.nat. Endang Darmawan, M.Sc., Apt., Head of Pharmacology and Phytochemistry Laboratory UAD, presented “Therapeutical Monitoring Using Molecular Shifts of Infra Red Spectra“. Dr. Moch. Saiful Bachri, M.Si., Apt., Head of Pharmacist Education Program UAD, presented “Anti-Hyperuricemia Activity of the Combination of Annona muricata, Phyllantus niruri, Centella asiatica and the combination of Stelechocarpus burahol (BL.) Hook and Centella asiatica“.
Held by School of Pharmacy GXMU, the international symposium was participated by approximately 100 participants from around China, Vietnam, Indonesia, and others. The participants were pharmacologist including doctor, pharmacist, nurse, etc. GXMU invited Faculty of Pharmacy UAD as one of the MoU realization in academic exchanges between two universities. The three lecturers of UAD had also a chance to visit laboratories in GXMU. In the next time, Pharmacy Faculty of UAD plans to develop the laboratories like in GXMU and conduct further cooperation such as visiting lecture exchange and joint research and publication.
