Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) through Indonesian Higher Education Leadership (iHiLead) Erasmus+ Held a Breakfast Seminar on Higher Education Governance
Highlighting a great decrease in students’ enrolment at private universities, UAD Through the iHiLead Erasmus+ Program Held A Leadership Improvement Training
Regulations for new students’ enrolment at State Universities from the Ministry of Education Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia No. 48 of 2022 leads to cutbacks in students’ enrolment numbers at Muhammadiyah, ‘Aisyiyah, and private universities at the national level.
Due to the above reason, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) through Indonesian Higher Education Leadership (iHiLead) Erasmus+ held a Breakfast Semester on Higher Education Governance which has Implications on the Number of Enrolment Students. In this chance, the top leaders of Muhammadiyah, ‘Aisyiyah, and private universities in Yogyakarta and Central Java were invited. It was conducted on 27 October 2023 at Amphitheater, Faculty of Medicine of UAD.
This training helps the Higher Education (PT) leaders to get a better understanding of the best strategies to strengthen internal team governance, synergy, and collaboration. Moreover, it creates a productive work environment, improves communication strategies, and improves the university brand. The discussion was designed interactively to give larger chances for each participant to deliver their experiences and problems. It was part of the Leadership Training Program granted by Erasmus.
Prof. drh. Aris Junaidi, Ph.D. (The Head of Higher Education Service Institution (LLDIKTI) Region V, Special Region of Yogyakarta), Prof. Fathul Wahid, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D. (The head of the Association of Indonesian Private Universities), and Prof. Dr. Muchlas, M.T.
