International KKN of UAD to Thailand
After sending students to Cambodia and Philippines to conduct community engagement last year, this year, 2014, again, UAD sends 14 students to Hat Yai, South Thailand. The KKN Program started from August 4 to September 2. The 14 students are divided in 2 groups. Group I are Abu Yazid Faizal (Physics Education/PE), Aminatun Wakhidah (Biology Education/BE), Luxy Ulfa (BE), Pitriani (Mathematics Education/ME), Yusmar Wiwiek (PE), Lila Nurlatiefah (PE), and Novela Wulandari (ME). Group II are Mustofa Ahyar (PE), Siti Nur Farida (BE), Sekar Utami (BE), Yopanika N.K. (ME), Sanakiyah (PE), Julaeha (PE), and Citra Retno (PE).
Departing to Thailand, the students were accompanied by Prof. Sarbiran, Ph.D., Vice Rector IV UAD, and two lecturers those are Rachmad Resmiyanto, M.Sc., from Physics Education and Arif Abdilah Nurusman, S.Si., from Biology Education. Some featured programs prepared by the students are Indonesian language course, telescopes training, Training of Indonesian Traditional Musical Instrument (angklung), etc.
