UAD Ensures the Collabortaion Continuity with Karabük University, Turkey.
Yogyakarta, September 2, 2025 – Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD), through the Office of Cooperation and International Affairs (KKUI), warmly welcomed the delegation from Karabük Üniversitesi, Turkiye, at the Global Lounge Room, UAD Campus 1B. This visit marked an important step in ensuring the continuity of international collaboration, highlighted by the signing of the renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two universities.
The Karabük Üniversitesi delegation was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Halime Göktaş Kulualp and Elif Ergin, while UAD was represented by Ulaya Ahdiani, S.S., M.Hum., Head of KKUI UAD, and Afit Istiandaru, M.Pd., Head of the Division of International Cooperation at UAD.
During the meeting, both parties discussed potential collaborations in student and staff exchange programs, including participation in the Erasmus+ KA171 International Credit Mobility Program. This program supports international mobility for both students and academic or administrative staff between UAD and European Union countries. Furthermore, this partnership aims to foster academic collaboration, professional development, and intercultural knowledge exchange.
With the signing of this MoU, UAD has officially ensured the continuation of its collaboration with Karabük Üniversitesi. This step is expected to open more opportunities for international mobility for both students and lecturers, while also strengthening UAD’s reputation as a university actively engaged in building global networks.
