An Emotional Atmosphere during the Withdrawal of Darmasiswa’s KKN
After two weeks conduting KKN (Community Service ) program, this morning, May 25th 2013, UAD, represented by OIA (Office of International Affairs), withdrew all Darmasiswa students of academic year 2012/2013 from the KKN location. The emotional atmosphere covered that moment. That was the moment when all Darmasiswa students had to leave the location, left people they lived with, learned with, spent their time together with during last two weeks. That was so hard. It seemed they did not want to leave the location. They thought that Bapak/Ibu (the owner of the house they lived in) as their own parents and people of that home as their own family. They really thanked you Bapak/Ibu for becoming their parents during that program, for teaching them a lot of things.
“We really had a good experience during this program. Thank you Bapak/Ibu. These two weeks has made me getting fatter because Ibu cooked very delicious foods everyday.” Said Viona. “They are my family. I will remember them even though I come back to Egypt.” Said Ahmed Basyuni sadly. (Eci)
