Saturday, December 7, 2013, English Letters Department, Faculty of Literature, Culture and Communication, held A General Lecture “An Overview of Australia and Indonesia from Language and Culture Perspectives”. The Keynote Speaker, Garry Jennings, from Australia, presented An Overview of Australian English, while Ida Puspita, S.S., M.A.Res., a lecturer of English Letters Department who took her master in Australia, presented her living and studying experience in Australia as an Indonesian and Muslim Student. The participants of the general lecture were not only English Letters students but also students from other study programs. They enthusiastically asked questions. It seems that they are interested to study in Australia.
