Collaborative Research Paper and Lecture Series between UAD and UNC (University of Nueva Caceres, Philippines)
Friday, October 25, 2013, Graduate Program UAD, in collaboration with the Graduate School UNC Philippines, held a Collaborative Research Paper and Lecture Series. Held in ruang sidang of Campus 2 UAD, the event was a form of realization of the MoU signed by UAD and UNC since 2010. This event was divided into two sessions: the morning session which was the presentation of research papers and the afternoon session which was lecture series. In the presentation of research paper, there were 5 research papers presented, 3 papers of UAD lecturers and 2 papers of lecturers from UNC.
The first presenter, Dr. Rushdi Umar from UAD presented a paper entitled “Computing Evolution”. The second presenter was Atty Clarita B. Padilla, Ed.D. from UNC presented a paper entitled “Graduate Studies and Promotions Status of the Public Secondary School Teachers in the Second Congressional District of Camarinces Sur, Philippines”. The third paper entitled Decentralizing Education presented by Sumarno, Ph.D. from UAD.Prof . Mary Ann A. Papica as the fourth presenter presenting a paper titled “You Can Do It program. A Motivational Programs in Preschool Education for Economically disadvantaged Children of Villa Grande Elementary School”. Finally, the last presenter Sunarti, SKM, M.Sc. presented a paper entitled “The Relationship between Energy, Protein, Zinc Intake and Nutritional Status (BMI Per Age) in Pre-School Children”.
After five presentations, there was a question and answer and discussion for participants who had questions about the papers that had been presented. Question and answer forum and discussion was moderated by Rai Rake Setiawan , S.E., MSA. Attended by about 50 participants from lecturers and students, Dr . Cesar B. Bermundo presented his invention in the lecture series session that introduced computer software in the form of Test Checker and Item Analyzer w/ Statistics, and Statistics w/ Computer Application. The event was closed by giving certificates for all speakers and exchange souvenirs from UNC to UAD and from UAD to UNC delegations.
