19 UAD students have been accepted into IISMA and AIMS Programs in the Republic of Korea, Ireland, Australia, and Malaysia
Yogyakarta (21 Agustus 2024), located at Ruang Ridang Utama Kampus 1 UAD, Office of Partnership and International Affairs conducted a Pre-Departure Ceremony for 19 students who are going to pursue their studies at 8 well-known world universities. 5 students have been accepted into the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) scholarship program, and 15 have been accepted into The Asian International Mobility for Students (AIMS).
Five students who were granted IISMA scholarships were in Bachelor, Vocational, and Entrepreneurship programs. Putri Nabilah Yuningtias (Psychology Department) is scheduled to start her study in September 2024 at the University of Galway, Ireland; Siti Fayha Maytsa Rahmasari (Psychology Department) will start her study at University College Cork, Ireland in September 2024; and Abdee Firman al-Rasyid (English Literature) will begin his study on October at Universiti Malaya, Malaysia are under IISMA bachelor program.
IISMA Huda Muzaki Putra Andiana (Food Service Industry) has been accepted to the IISMAVocational Program. He has started his class at Woosong University, South Korea. Azra Latifah Listri (Management Department) will study at the University of Melbourne, Australia under the IISMA Entrepreneur Program.
Furthermore, UAD has been granted the AIMS program since 2010. This year, 14 students are accepted AIMS program. Zidna Navela Kamelia, Gandi Muhammad Boleng, Arzety Nabilla Katili, and Fasya Aqilla Ayu Widyadhana are students of Arabic Language and Literature scheduled to start their class in September 2024 at Universiti Malaya, Malaysia. Four students of English Literature, Sausan Fadhila Noor, Silvi Maulina Sagita, Aqil Julyanriko Pranata, and Agis Zalfa Verenia Nur Rizqy will study at Busan University of Foreign Studies, Republic of Korea. Fariz Noval Fauzi (Indonesian Literature) will study at Busan University of Foreign Studies, Republic of Korea.
Norsyifa (Chemical Engineering), Mohammad Farid Hendianto (Informatic), Shita Az Zahra Febrianti (Teknik Industri), dan Andi Bintang Toar Dondok (Informatika) will pursue their exchange program at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah, Malaysia, and Zahra Fadillah Utami Rivan (Food Technology) will study at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Malaysia.
The Office of Partnership and International Affairs conducted the pre-departure ceremony. This event was officially opened with a brief report of outbound programs. It was followed by a speech from Prof. Ir. Sunardi, S.T., M.T., Ph.D. (Vice-rector of Academic Affairs). He delivered full support for all outbound programs, especially IISMA and AIMS.oia
