Saturday, March 29, 2014, Chemical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Industrial Technology UAD held a joint seminar with Chemical Engineering Department, Faculty of Chemical & Natural Resources Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Pahang, Malaysia, at Campus III UAD. Head of Chemical Engineering Study Program, Maryudi, S.T., M.T., Ph.D. welcomed the UMP students and their lecturer, EN. Mohd Najib Bin Razali, M.Eng, and opened the seminar.
Moderated by Erna Astuti, S.T., M.T., some students of both universities presented their research projects in this seminar. Syznee Binti Elias from UMP presented her paper entitled “Synthesis and characterization Vegan Hard Capsule of Kappa Carragechan with Methyl Slyocal and Tehnic Acid Linner Using Cross Linking Technique. Nur Effarahin Binti Elias, also from UMP, presented her research on Synthesis and Characterization of Silver Nanoparticle filled Epoxy Composites. Mean while from UAD, Intan Dwi Isparulita dan Elza Novita Putri, presented their paper on Condemnation of liquid smoke from coconut shell for activating the temperature and time variety.
