BIPA Immersion Program at Pentingsari Cultural Village
Thursday, November 13, 2014, Language Training Center (PPB) UAD, held a BIPA Immersion Program for BIPA (Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers) students of UAD. The head of Language Training Center, Ahmad Budairi, M.Ed., BIPA lecturers and PPB staff took the students to Pentingsari Cultural Village and had some cultural activities such as painting batik, making handicraft, farming, catching eels, plowing the farm, etc.
The students were divided into some group and each group had different activities. After doing one activity, the group then move on another activity. Beside the cultural activities, the students were also assigned to interview the people in the village and write an essay. The students enthusiastically joined all activities.
