UAD Attends the 5th Evaluation Meeting: Pre-Service Student Teacher Exchange in Southeast Asia (SEA-Teacher Project)
Located at Best Western Hotel Palu, Ida Puspita, M.A.Res. (Director of International Office of UAD ), and Dr. Tri Kinasih Handayani, M.Si. (Dean of Faculty of Teacher Training and Education) attended the 5th Evaluation Meeting: Pre-Service Student Teacher Exchange in Southeast Asia
(SEA-Teacher Project).
In October 2014, the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education through the SEAMEO Council has issued seven priority areas for SEAMEO to work together to improve the quality of education in Southeast Asia. The project is mainly for the pre-service student teachers whose major are in math, science, English and pre-school to have the opportunity to conduct their practicum within Southeast Asian countries. The practicum period is for one month.
Further, this meeting aims to 1. To review and evaluate the implementation of the 5th batch of pre-service student teacher exchange and to discuss and plan for the 6th batch of pre-service student exchange. There are hundreds participant from 57 universities of Teacher Education Institutes in Southeast Asia.
