UAD Delivers Darmasiswa Students to KKN Program
This morning, May 11th, 2013, UAD represented by the head of office of International Affairs, Ida Puspita, M.A., symbolically delivered Darmasiswa students of academic year 2012/2013 to KKN (Community Service) program. Those Darmasiswa students were divided into three groups and spread at some elementary schools and kindergartens in Sleman (the location is near to Prambanan Tample) such as TKIT Baiturahman and SD Merah Putih. This program will be conducted for two weeks and the Darmasiswa students will not only do a teaching program at the schools, such as teaching Arabic language, Mandarin, Thai language, and some games, but they will also participate on some activities held by the local community there. The main goals of this community service are to make Darmasiswa students interact in local community, participate in local activities, learn Bahasa Indonesia and Indonesian culture directly from local people. All Darmasiswa students feel so glad that they will stay in a comfort home of local people. However, most of them feel hard because they have to be separated from their friends (the other Darmasiswa students). They feel a bit afraid that they will not be able to stand on this program for the next two weeks, but the best of all is they will learn a lot from the experience joining this program. (Eci)
