Takmir Education Foundation and Malaysian Muslim Youth of Johor, Malaysia Visit UAD to Study Education in UAD
Friday, November 27, 2013, 14 delegations of Takmir Education Foundation Malaysian Muslim Youth of Johor, Malaysia, Visit UAD to Study Education in UAD. Welcomed by Vice Rector II, Muhammad Safar Nasir, M.Si., Vice Rector III, Dr. Abdul Fadlil, M.T., and Head of International Office, Ida Puspita, M.A.Res., the delegations expressed their willingness to cooperate with UAD in training their teachers.
Takmir Education Foundation is an Educational Foundation which has 400 kindergarten, 27 Tahfiz Centers, 13 elementary schools, 7 high schools, and 20.000 students. Takmir Education Foundation and Malaysian Muslim Youth of Johor, Malaysia, came to visit Indonesia especially Yogyakarta because of the great name of Muhammadiyah as the biggest and strong Islamic Movement in Indonesia which consistently concerns in Education, Health and Social. In the eyes of the two Malaysian organizations, Muhammadiyah is a success non-governmental organization which contributes much to the society and the best thing about Muhammadiyah is Muhammadiyah can go hand in hand with the government. There is no organization such Muhammadiyah in Malaysia, so that the two organizations want to learn much from Muhammadiyah and educational institutions of Muhammadiyah such as Universitas Ahmad Dahlan and Muhammadiyah Schools.
