Guest Lecture on Astrophysics
Monday, 16th of September, 2013, Physics Education Study Program and Graduate Program held a guest lecture on Astrophysics at Ruang Sidang Campus 1 UAD. Coming as the lecturer, Prof. Michel Dennefeld from Institute of d’Astrophysique de Paris, UPMC-University Pierre and Marrie Curie. The lecture started at 01.30 p.m. and finished at 03.00 p.m.. The participants were about 40 students of Physics Education undergraduate and graduate program.
Prof. Michel Dennefeld emphasized that nowdays the big project of astrophysics is to find earth-like planets. During the lecture, the participants were really enthusiastic and asked many questions about the current issues related to astrophysics.
