Three Lecturers of English Education Study Program UAD Present on Three Different Activities; Workshop, Discussion, and Academic Lecture; at the Faculty of Languages and Communication (FLC) UnisZa, Malaysia

Thursday to Friday, December 12-13, 2013, three lecturers of English Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education UAD, visited the Faculty of Languages and Communication (FLC), Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA) Trengganu, Malaysia. The visit was one of realization of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between UniSZA and UAD on September, 2013. There were three activities carried out during the visit. The first one was a workshop entitled “Developing Soft Skills Through The Jigsaw Learning Model” conducted by R. Muhammad Ali, M.Pd., Head of English Education Study Program UAD, followed by a discussion on “Teaching English Through Play” by Drs. Nuri Fainuddin, M.Hum., and lastly an academic lecture entitled“Improving The Quality Of TEFL / TESL in Primary And Secondary School by Using Four Techniques” presented by Prof. Dr. Bustami Subhan. Participants for all three of these activities consisted of TESL and BEN students, as well as FLC lecturers. The delegation also had the opportunity to hold discussion on planning a joint venture. FLC Dean, Dr. Mohd Nazri Latiff Azmi in his speech, also stated that FLC plans on paying a return visit to UAD in early March 2014.
