This program is being conducted at three schools in Songkhla: Sangkhom Islam Wittaya School, Pattanasart Foundation School, and Prik Municipality School.
This KKN period involves 11 students from various study programs: two students from the Information Systems program, two from Psychology, two from Informatics Engineering, one from Guidance and Counseling, three from Communication Studies, and one from the Pharmacy program.
The series of events began with a deployment ceremony at Sangkhom Islam Wittaya School. The ceremony was attended by the Field Supervisor (DPL), Muh Saeful Effendi, the directors and supervising teachers from the three schools, as well as the 11 UAD students. The event commenced with a performance by elementary school students from Sangkhom, followed by several speeches.
In his speech, DPL Saeful Effendi presented an overview of the planned activities that the students had formulated for the KKN program. These activities cover various fields, including academics, religion, arts, sports, and thematic programs. Some of the most exciting programs include introducing Indonesian culture to the students, such as traditional clothing, dances, beverages, and food.
Each school director also delivered a welcoming speech. In general, they warmly welcomed the presence of UAD students and promised to facilitate every program activity throughout their stay.
The Director of Sangkhom Islam Wittaya School, Dr. Taleb Kayem, emphasized, “We have welcomed UAD students every year for the past ten years, and we are pleased that they have contributed significantly to the development of our school.”
Similarly, the Vice Director of Pattanasart Foundation School, Muttaba Mudsim, and a representative from Prik Municipality School, Panit Insan, also expressed their enthusiasm for collaborating and ensuring the success of the UAD KKN program. This year marks the first time that Prik Municipality School has hosted UAD KKN students.
The UAD students involved in this KKN program are expected not only to make a positive contribution to the schools in Thailand but also to gain valuable experiences that will broaden their perspectives and skills. With a spirit of collaboration and service, this program aims to bridge cultural understanding and strengthen ties between Indonesia and Thailand while opening further opportunities for future cooperation.
