UAD Get the Fourth Grant of Erasmus+ on International Credit Mobility with Polytechnic Institute of Porto Portugal
Located at Ruang Sidang Kampus 1, Thursday11th August 2022, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan welcomed Alexandra Mariana Nunes Albuquerque, Ph.D. from Polytechnic Institute of Porto (IPP) discussing Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM) Grand. ICM is the fourth program granted by Erasmus+. Since 2017, UAD has been granted three Erasmus programs. These are Capacity Building of Higher Education (CBHE) in entrepreneurship namely Growing Indonesia: A Triangular Approach/GITA, Disaster Management namely Building Universities in Leading Disaster resilience (BUiLD), and Leadership namely Indonesian Higher Education Leadership (iHilead).
UAD and IPP have been cooperating since 2019 from the first program of Erasmus +. Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility is a lecturer exchange and joint research program. The first program will be conducted by the Faculty of Economic and Business of UAD and School of Business IPP Portugal for a year from 2022 to 202.
This meeting was officially opened by Rusydi Umar, S.T., M.T., Ph.D. (Vice Rector of Academic Affairs), and Dwi Santoso, Ph.D. (The Head of Ahmad Dahlan Global Engagement). It was followed by a presentation on UAD’s International Cooperation presented by Ida Puspita, M.A.Res. (Head of International Cooperation), presentation on the Faculty of Economic and Business International Cooperation delivered by Dr. Dini Yniarti, S.E., M.Si. (The Dean of Faculty of Economic and Business), and presentation on possible cooperation between UAD and IPP presented by Alexandra Mariana Nunes Albuquerque.
Anton Yudhana, S.T., M.T., Ph.D. (The Head of Research and Community Service Institute of UAD) proposed to conduct a Joint Research, Joint Publication, and Joint Research Reviewers Program. This proposal got a positive response from IPP. Alexandra Mariana Nunes scheduled a meeting between the Research and Community Institute of UAD and IPP.
Furthermore, Rai Rake Setyawan, Ph.D., one of the lecturers of the Magister of Management offered to hold a Joint Supervision. Faculty members of the Faculty of Economic and Business also proposed some programs such as Students Exchange, Transfer Credit, Lecturer Exchange, and so forth. All of those proposals are very much accepted and scheduled to be discussed with IPP teams. Nevertheless, both institutions also discussed the possibility to have an MoU and MoA to build larger cooperation in the future.
