UAD Officially Held an On-boarding Ceremony for International Credit Transfer Program 2022
Yogyakarta, 10 September 2022, UAD officially conducted a Pre-departure and Onboarding ceremony for six awardees of the International Credit Transfer (ICT) program under the Ministry of Education. Culture, Research, and Technology. This year, for the first time ICT, will hold offline classes at Malaysian universities for one semester after the pandemic.
Two students of English Literature (Desti Nurwahidah dan Nabila Azzahra) and two students of English Education Department (Umair dan Enggar Bagas Dewantara) are scheduled to study at Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) and two students of Arabic Language and Literature (Hammam AliAlthaf Shah, dan Zumrotul Imanda Wachid Hakim) are scheduled to study at Universiti Malaya.
The ceremony was officially opened by Rusydi Umar, S.T., M.T., Ph.D. (Vice Rector of Academic Affairs) and attended by Dwi Santoso, Ph.D. (Head of Ahmad Dahlan Global Engagement), Ida Puspita, M.A.Res. (Head of International Affairs), related dean, head of program studies and the awardees. The pre-departure ceremony consisted of academics, Al Islam and Kemuhammadiyah, and Psychology training.
Rusydi Umar, S.T., M.T., Ph.D. stated that “We are hoping that through this program, our students can have a first-hand experience of cross-cultural understanding. Furthermore, they can experience different teaching methods and atmospheres.”
