UAD Sends Nine Students to Study under Credit Transfer System Program at UUM
Located at Ruang Serbaguna Kampus 3 Universitas Ahmad Dahlah, Friday 26th August 2016. Prof. Sarbiran, Ph.D. (Vice Rector IV) officially opened the technical meeting (TM) as a series of ceremonies to prepare nine students of UAD who are going to conduct One Semester Credits Transfer System Program at Universiti Utara Malaysia. They are Herman Peta Permadi and Auliya Lathifathul Wadiah (students of Faculty of Law), Rohisotul Mutabasimah and Siti Hartinah (students of Accounting) , Taufukurrahman and Rahmat Saleh (students of Economics Development), Rahmayani and Febrian Eka Putra (students of management), and Rifki Pambudi (student of Information Engineering). They went to UUM on the 27th of August 2016 and they are planned to study until March 2017.
Further, this ceremony was attended by the head of those four study programs, lecturers, and staff of International Office Affairs. MoU between UAD and UUM poses to many activities such as joint seminar, lecturers exchange, etc. This year, one semester credit transfer system program is conducted for the first time and it attracts great enthusiasm of the students. In this program, students do not need to pay tuition fee in their host university. They only need to pay in their home university.
Ida Puspita, M.A.Res. (Director of International Office Affairs) said, “One semester credit transfer system program is one of the ways to variate and enlarge international program of UAD with international partner institutions especially UUM. Further, this program gives international exposure for the students to face ASEAN Economics Market”. She added “We believe that this program brings great opportunities for both universities’ students to internationally share their experiences . We also are waiting feedback visits from UUM”
