UAD under Office of International Affairs Held The 9th International Day

UAD again held International Day on 8 December 2018 in Campus IV, UAD. This year, the International Day was enlivened by 17 culinary stands from various countries such as Egypt, Poland, Vietnam, Tajikistan, Turkey, Spain, Bangladesh, Japan, China, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Timor Leste, Thailand, and Malaysia. Besides international food bazaar, the event also had stand-up comedy competition for foreign students. The event was opened by the Rector of UAD, Dr. Kasiyarno, M. Hum then followed by a stand-up comedy competition and several performances from various countries and the last was the international food bazaar.

International Day UAD has been regularly held since 2009. This year the international UAD took the theme Culture Festival, UAD foreign students were required to present art performances that represent their respective cultures. Ida Puspita, MARes said, “In this event, the students are able to express arts, as well as to promote the culture of their respective countries to the Indonesian community “.
