UAD welcomed students from USANT and SEA-teacher
UAD welcomed 10 USANT, Philippines and 5 Sea-Teacher students from Thailand and Philippines (23/1/2019). The exchange student program with USANT has been carried out since 2016. In this occassion, UAD also welcomed students from Sea-teacher program. The whole Sea-teacher has entered batch 7 but UAD just entered from batch 6.
The ten USANT students were Mary Paynago, Halowyn Borromeo, Maria Silva, Jessa Ponce, Zialecka Ibarreta, Jay Filio, Mayumi Marmol, Henrico Sernal, Mary Custodio, Aljona Labilles. The student came with Cristian Lamud as the faculty adviser. While from the Sea-teacher program UAD welcomed Chuthathip Yokrathok from Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University, Thailand, Sawitree Krainara and Maungrod Women from Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University, Thailand, Francia Mae S. Filipino from Ateneo de Naga University, Philippines, Shaira Mae V. Valdez from Tarlac Agricultural University, Philippines.
The welcoming ceremony was opened by a remark from the Vice Rector IV Prof. Drs. Sarbiran, M.Ed., Ph.D, then continued with remarks from the dean of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Dr. Trikinasih Handayani, M.Si.. According to the head of Office of International Affairs, Ida Puspita, M.A.Res, “UAD annually accepts students from the Sea-Teacher program and USANT as the educational and cultural understanding to prepare ASEAN economic community”.
