Southeast Asia Psychology International Seminar (SAPIC) 2013
Saturday to Monday,24th-26th August 2013, Faculty of Psychology UAD cooperated with the Association of Islamic Psychologist (API) held the Southeast Asia Psychology International seminar (SAPIC) 2013 at Campus I UAD. The speakers of the seminar were Prof. Dr. Hora Tjitra (Zhejiang University, China), Associate Prof. Muhammad Nubli (University of Malaysia Pahang), Prof. Noeng Muhadjir (University of Ahmad Dahlan), Associate Prof. AM Diponegoro (University of Ahmad Dahlan), Associate Prof. Intan Hashimah (University of Sains Malaysia) and Associate Prof. Bagus Riyono (Gadjah Mada University).
Dr. Kasiyarno, M. Hum, the Rector of UAD, when officially opened this event, said that recently the countries in southeast Asia face a lot of problems such as in economy, politic, social, and domestic (family). “In the spiritual dimension, it’s found that many people face life emptiness lose the true meaning of life.”
The international seminar themed spirituality, well-being and social harmony were attended by researchers, post-graduate students, and others to actively participate in discussing the ideas, solutions, and researches related to the theme.
