Ida Puspita,M.A.Res. is Chosen as The Head of National Forum of International Office of Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah Higher Education for The Second Time

Located at Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta (UMJ), 18th-19th May 2016 UMJ with  Directorate of Higher Education of Muhammadiyah Central Assembly conducted A Workshop on “Pursue Your Passion Scholarship”. This workshop is a yearly workshop held by Directorate of Higher Education of Muhammadiyah Central Assembly and one of International Office of Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah Higher Educations to strengthen international cooperation of Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah Higher Education and elect the new head of National Forum of International Office of Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah Higher Education.

There was about 90 participants attended this workshop, they come from different position in their institutions such as vice rectors, head and staff of international office Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah Higher Education. Further, there are many keynote speakers were invited to deliver their presentations. They are, Dr.Ir. Parisiyanti Nurwandi,MP. (from Indonesian Directorate of Higher Education) delivered “Offer and Challenge to Study Abroad for Indonesian”. Mnr. Marik Bellen,M.A. explained “Preparartion to Study Abroad”, Steve Buckley explained “Research and Study in the UK”, Destriani Nugroho (European Union) explained “Erasmus Plus and International Mobility Program, and many others.

This event was also one of the places for Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah Higher Educations to enhancing their international cooperation. Moreover, a parallel discussion on “International Community Service Program and Short-course Program” was opened for Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah Higher Education those have not international office yet to learn, make a plan and start an international cooperation.

Last but not least, all of the members of National Forum of International Office of Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah Higher Education were given a chance to choose their leader. After one hours of discussion, Ida Puspita,M.A.Res., the director of international office of UAD and also the former head of National Forum of International Office of Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah Higher Education 2015/2016 is chosen for the second time to lead this national forum. She will lead this forum until August 2017.
