Universitas Ahmad Dahlan Officially Withdrew All Participants of The 2020 International Community Service Program in Thailand
Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) officially withdrew all participants of the International Community Service Program in Thailand. The International Community Service Program is one of the annual programs conducted between UAD and several partner schools in Thailand. The withdrawal ceremony was represented by Ani Susanti, Mpd. B. I. as a supervisor of International Community Service Program. (Tuesday, February 25, 2020).
12 students from various study programs at UAD, such as Indonesian Literature, English Literature, Accounting, Biology, English Language Education, Chemical Engineering and Law participated International Community Service 2020 Program.
The 12 students participated in the International Community Service Program were divided into two groups and undergoing Community Service Programs in two partner schools in southern Thailand. The first group was deployed at the Sangkhom Wittaya School, while the 2nd group conducted a Community Service at Songserm Sasana Vitaya School, and Muslim communities around the two schools.
During one month of conducting KKN in Thailand, they have conducted many programs such as teaching Indonesian and English, Indonesian culture, traditional handicrafts, etc. In addition, while conducting an International Community Service Program, students have the opportunity to learn the local culture.
