UAD Sent Five Students to UiTM under ASEAN Plus Three Scholarship Program
UAD sent five students from English Literature Department to Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia. They are Andini Mandala Putri, Arizka Ummarina, Fadia Nurhasanah, Jasmina Zahra, and Melya Putri Astari. They studied at UiTM for one semester from September 2019 to January 2020 under ASEAN+3 and Europe scholarship program.
This program is supported by Indonesian Ministry of Research Technology and Higher Education. Its Directorate General of Learning and Student Affairs held a credit transfer program as part of an effort to develop student competencies and insights gained through student mobility schemes with several partner countries such as ASEAN, Japan, South Korea, Europe, and USA. This Credit Transfer Program is a recognition process of the credits of study and learning outcomes that have been obtained by a student while studying in a partner university. In addition, through this credit transfer program, home university in Indonesia could learn the various of credit transfer systems, such as European credit transfer systems, ASEAN credit transfer systems, and UMAP credit transfer systems. Then they could apply and develop the systems according to their needs and the regulations of higher education in Indonesia.
Through this program the students learned several subjects, such as Persuasion and Negotiation, Professional Communication, Advanced Reading, Cross Cultural Interaction, dan Advanced Grammar.
