UAD Received Grants for International Credit Transfer from Misnistry of Education and Culture 2020
UAD received a grant for International Credit Transfer from the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs, Ministry of Education and Culture. This program is international credit-taking program that is annually organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture. This year the program will be conducted online due to the pandemic. This program aims to support the policy of the freedom of learning from the Ministry of Education and Culture.
Based on the decree of the Ministry of Education and Culture number 1873 / E2 / TU / 2020, dated August 20, 2020, there are 54 universities receiving these funds. Universitas Ahmad Dahlan is one of the grantees that will conduct the program for one semester / 6 months from September 2020 to January 2021.
The grant will be allocated to 7 students from various selected study programs that have collaboration with partner universities abroad. The 7 students are Nur Akhidah Khalimatussa ‘Diyah from Arabic Language and Literature Study Program in collaboration with Universiti Malaya (UM) Malaysia. Ria Nur Widiati and Tenry Reski Wahyu, from English Literature in collaboration with Universiti Teknologi MARA Malaysia (UiTM). Khafidz El-Faqihani from English Education in collaboration with Universiti Teknologi MARA Malaysia (UiTM). Zidny Ma’ruf from Master of English Education in collaboration with Universiti Saint Anthony Philippines (USANT). Innes Yonanda and Nora Devi Irianjani, Masters in Professional Psychology in collaboration with Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) and the University of Philippines Manila
Ida Puspita M.A. Res., As Head of Office of International Affairs as well as Program Coordinator stated, “Alhamdulillah, UAD again received the grant for International Credit Transfer Program from Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs, Ministry of Education and Culture. UAD has received this kind of grant since 2009. This is the commitment of UAD to become an internationally recognized university.”
UAD has made various achievements in the academic or non-academic fields. Besides International Credit Transfer (ICT), UAD also received a lot of grants to send students abroad from various programs, such as AIMS (Asian International Mobility for Students). This is the UAD vision to become an internationally recognized university with Islamic values. [i]
