Director of International Office of UAD Attends 9th AIMS Program Meeting at Tsukuba University, Japan
22-23 October 2015, located at Tsukuba University Japan, Ida Puspita,M.A.Res., (Director of International Office UAD) attended the 9th AIMS Program Meeting. 64 universities were invited in this event. 12 of them are Indonesian universities and UAD is the only private university from Yogyakarta.
This program was initiated by Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand, namely MIT. After more South Asian Countries joined, this program was changed to AIMS (ASEAN International Mobility for Students). Moreover, started in 2013, Japan have been the only East Asian Countries that have joined this Program. In this chance, one of the discussion program was a proposal from South of Korea to join this program.
AIMS Program is one of the media for university students from South Asian Countries plus Japan to enlarge their international study experiences. Besides study, students also enjoy learning culture.
Ida Puspita, M.A.Res. said, “Although, there are many changes on structural of Ministry of National Education and Culture of Indonesia. I wish Indonesian government continuously supports this program for all universities especially UAD”.
