ISNAD Foundation entrust Palestinian Students to Study at UAD
Yogyakarta — Trust in fostering cross-border education is one of the key connections between Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) and the ISNAD Foundation. This was reflected in a visit by four ISNAD Foundation representatives to UAD on Monday, September 28, 2026, to strengthen relations and ensure that the Palestinian students under their care had arrived safely and begun their studies at UAD.
During the visit, the ISNAD Foundation representatives were accompanied by three Palestinian students currently studying at UAD. The meeting provided an opportunity for both parties to strengthen their relationship, maintain communication, and discuss the students’ progress as they begin their academic journey on campus.
The visit also reflected the ISNAD Foundation’s trust in UAD in supporting the educational journey of Palestinian students. Through the meeting, the foundation entrusted the students to UAD’s care, with the hope that they would receive appropriate support throughout their studies. This trust underscores the importance of strong relationships between organizations that facilitate students’ education and the higher education institutions where they pursue their studies.
For UAD, supporting international students is part of its commitment to fostering an open and inclusive educational environment that embraces diversity. In addition to attending classes, students from other countries must also adapt to a new environment, both on campus and in their daily lives. Therefore, communication between the university and its partners is essential to ensuring that students’ needs receive appropriate attention throughout their studies.
This visit is expected to help maintain the positive relationship between UAD and the ISNAD Foundation while strengthening communication in support of Palestinian students’ education. Through this partnership, UAD continues to foster collaboration with various stakeholders to support access to education and provide positive learning experiences for international students.
