UAD Discusses Collaboration Opportunities with the Institut français d’Indonésie, Opening Educational and Scholarship Opportunities in France
Yogyakarta – Ahmad Dahlan University (UAD), through its Office of Cooperation and International Affairs (OCIA), welcomed a delegation from Institut français Indonésie on May 22, 2026. The meeting, held at the Global Lounge of UAD Campus I, marked an initial step toward exploring opportunities for international collaboration, particularly in the fields of education and academic mobility between UAD and higher education institutions in France.
The delegation from Institut français Indonésie was welcomed by Afitr Istiandaru, S.Pd., M.Pd., Head of the International Cooperation Division at UAD. The delegation consisted of Margaux Nemmouchi, Agung Riantiarno, and Arya Seta.
During the meeting, representatives from Institut français Indonésie introduced a range of programs and services designed to strengthen educational cooperation between Indonesia and France. The discussion explored several potential areas of collaboration, including academic activities, student exchange programs, and the development of international partnerships with universities across France.
In addition to institutional collaboration, the meeting highlighted various study and scholarship opportunities available to Indonesian students interested in pursuing higher education in France. Participants discussed the French higher education system, support services for international students, and educational programs facilitated through Campus France, all of which attracted significant interest during the session.
As a follow-up to the visit, Institut français Indonésie plans to organize an information session on higher education and scholarship opportunities in France for UAD students. The event is expected to provide comprehensive information about studying in France while broadening students’ awareness of the international academic opportunities available to them.
Through this meeting, UAD reaffirmed its commitment to expanding its global partnership network and creating greater international opportunities for its academic community. The collaboration with Institut français Indonésie is expected to serve as a gateway for UAD students and faculty members to access academic programs, research collaborations, and scholarship opportunities in France in the years to come.
