UAD Held International Seminar of ICON C-COMET 2012
This morning, December 1st, 2012 UAD held an International Conference on Culture, Communication, and Multimedia Technology 2012(ICON C-COMET 2012) at the Auditorium Kampus 3 of UAD. The speakers of the seminar were Prof. Dr. Norshuhada Shiratuddin (UUM), Associate Professor Lynne M. Walters, Ph. D (Texas University), and Prof. Bustamin Subhan MS (University of Ahmad Dahlan). In the seminar, there was also a contemporary puppet performance which told about the journey of UAD.
Rector of UAD, Drs. Kasiyarno, M.Hum., said, “The international seminar is one of the contributions of UAD in developing Indonesian culture and hopefully it can gives the students understanding to preserve local culture”.
UAD also held workshop on Video Broadcasting Mahasiswa and a discussion on Media Impact on Culture for student of UAD and UUM organized by study program of Communication UAD, General Stadium at Faculty of Letters, and General Stadium at Faculty of Industrial Engineering of UAD with UUM. (Eci)
